This will take a similar approach to the research briefings we prepared for the Fringe Farming Project - we will summarise any historical and current context of peri-urban farming (particularly small-scale, agroecological horticulture), including considering the social, environmental and economic opportunities this might bring, to produce a short report with some key questions and recommendations to consider, which can be used by the council to think through next steps to enhance the local community/sustainable food system.
